Which Side are YOU On???
Time to take a commercial break and just do something fun!A friend of mine sent me this really fun test that I took a couple of days ago. If you have ever wondered whether you are a Southerner or not, this is the test for you!

My favorite question:
What's that bug that rolls into a ball when you touch it?
- Doodlebug
- Pillbug
- Roly-Poly
- Potato bug
- Sow bug
I am 57% Dixie. What are you??? And what is your favorite question???

My higher score must represent the longer amount of time I've lived in the South - a good five and a half years longer than you! I'm 63% Dixie. (Just under the Mason-Dixon Line.)
85% dixie. Damn growing up in Alabama. I thought my indie music would at least keep me around 50%!
I guess somethings just are what they are.
"89% Dixie. Do you still use Confederate money?"
hi, my name is ben and I'm from buford (before the mall came), ga.
I dont know if you remember me but we met at the 1st phoenix project. I read you comment on Anna's blog...WE LOVE 24!!! But you cant tell us what has happened that past few episodes because we are trying to save them up to watch them in a bundle. okay I just needed to tell you that...
teL been thers abbsowlotly nuthin rong weeth hees skor. bcauz i gott thee samm purrsint az heem. i remmembr thim pee paches ther bfor thee mal two.
i must confess that i'm a little disappointed to say that i'm only 79% Dixie. i mean, can Ben really out-southern me by ten percent? i've been in Ithaca too long!
Glad to hear that all of you are still on the Christian side of the country...just kidding.
I think I am a watered-down Southerner at best...bummer.
Leslie, of course I remember you, and don't worry- there will be no 24 leakage on this here blog. You can visit without fear. But I can tell you that the past couple of episodes have been TENSE, and next week looks...*sigh*...awesome...
Waaahhh, Kaytee, them pee pachess aint neverr mooved!
i'm ashamed of my low score... still southern, but nothing to write home about... and i thought 3 years in milledgeville would have rubbed off more on me
Gina, our parents are way too northern for us to score any higher on the scale. We can blame it on them. Even if we were born in the confederate capital, our parents were still saying "pop" for too long.
I still remember when we moved to Georgia, though. I had never heard someone say "POH-lice" until the first week of riding the bus to Suwanee elementary (which only had two 4th grade classes at the time). And I had been born in the heart of the South.
I'm a native of Duluth, GA. My parents were born and bred in Norcross. My grandparents were both born in Commerce. I am proud to say 83% dixie.
"39% Dixie. You are definitely a Yankee."
That seems about right since I was born in the Mid-west, lived in Suwanee, and have been in the Northeast for the past 17 years. I switched from y'all to you guys fairly quickly.
Wow, I am amazed by the variety of friends I have come to know and love and blog with. I feel so...inclusive!
i'm 70%...phewww...thought it would be less and i would be ashamed that i could call myself a georgia from birth. but good thing for the growing metro area...it would have been a little too high;o)
oh..and mine said that my neck must be a little pink;o)
